The building in the picture has exterior dimensions of 14m x 25m including balconies (the terraces were originally the same size). It is a house with 8 apartments (3 and 4 rooms) and 255m2 of living space per floor. I just want to say that I do not consider the project of building a house with such a floor area within a building plot of 14m x 40m to be absolutely unrealistic. Whether something better would really be possible for construction costs of 1.5 million (I calculate more than €3000/m2 for Munich) and a family-owned plot of land is another question. Current offers show semi-detached houses on 211m2 plots with 160m2 living space for a purchase price of 1.3 million!

Thank you for the visual representation. Currently, I am looking at so many projects / pictures etc., every bit of inspiration helps.

Personally, I still believe that such a project is feasible (certainly compromises like with the garden etc. must be made). Whether one wants the result to be like that remains to be seen.

The offers and prices in Munich are absolutely incredible. Just the prices being asked in our area alone.

Yesterday, I saw an underground parking system for 4 vehicles at a current construction site in our area, but I have not yet found the name of the system. However, I really liked it as an alternative to an underground garage.

Furthermore, an architect will shortly clarify the building rights and conduct a volume study for us. I'll be surprised.

I would see it as highly disproportionate to go to the trouble of an extra elevator and staircase.

We have still been giving it some thought these days. However, the thoughts currently only focus on a possible configuration. A really interesting plan would be a kind of semi-detached house with two full floors each and a nice attic apartment (including elevator and terraces). I think a lot would be architecturally possible here..
