A little has happened in the last few days as well. Regarding the building application, it is still an intense back and forth with the authority, but we are probably really on the home stretch. The execution planning, i.e. LPH5, is in full swing. It is really fun to participate intensively here or to really "dive into" the topics. Here also a big thank you to, for example, rick2018, 11ant and co. for the fact that no question is too silly and for their truly incredible expertise.

In the past few days, the structural engineer, the engineering office for drainage planning, and an engineering office for fire protection have also been brought on board.

Best regards and have a nice holiday!

I can give a small update once again. We have also commissioned the necessary expert who has to approve/check the fire protection concept. An engineering firm for building energy consulting has also been involved. Hopefully, next week there will be an appointment with a specialist company for electrical / KNX / building security / photovoltaic systems and so on.

In fact, we have now also received the demolition permit (there was quite a "fun" back and forth with the responsible authority). The building application is still not approved. We had planned underfloor heating in the area of the underground garage ramp (the ramp is supposed to be designed open). However, the authority has recently rejected this type of heating for energy reasons.

Many greetings and stay healthy everyone.

There must be some regulation somewhere that under certain circumstances you even have to have it must (?) - e.g. if you convert two of the car parking spaces into three motorcycle spaces and then exceed a certain total number threshold or some nonsense like that. Authorities want to be fought with their own weapons - they need that. Then they even thank you that they unfortunately had to allow it because there is no other way, crocodile tears sniff ...

You have an interesting project there. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the next steps.

What I would be curious about – with all architecture and construction technology-related topics – is: How do you plan to handle the actual demolition and building process? If I understood correctly, you/your parents are currently still living in the building to be demolished. Will you rent an apartment for the "transition period" (probably somewhere between one and a half and two years)? Will you stay with relatives or in a hotel?

Best regards

Hello . Thank you very much for keeping your fingers crossed.

We have already rented an apartment. We were lucky that a new building was completed within walking distance, and we immediately "got down to business" here. The move is imminent. Therefore, I can be on the construction site spontaneously at any time, whenever necessary, and of course very often. The same applies to "Family 2," who also live just around the corner. The older generation will move to our weekend house near Munich (35 minutes driving time, very spacious living with a fantastic view / it could be worse )

Best regards

A very nice day today. We have actually - after quite intense back and forth - received the official approval!

Best regards
