thank you very much for the illustration! I like your line of thought. Is there an option in your image to add boundaries of the individual living areas (even measurements in meters would be brilliant)...

The floor plan as well?
I suppose that with a granny flat on the ground floor, 200 sqm of built-up floor area will not be enough for the mentioned wishes.

If the granny flat on the ground floor is to be considered, 200sqm in total is definitely not enough!

No, I don’t, your architect has to get his €€€ for something after all .
It was only meant to be a thought approach, as an alternative to the classic semi-detached house. It also has disadvantages, since one apartment "only" has a southeast garden.

It’s probably true that it will be a bit more than 200 m2. My quick thought was 60 m2 granny flat, 2* 60 m2 kitchen and living/dining area +10% walls. I naturally forgot cloakroom and stairs, so rather 240 m2, which with a 14 m building plot width results in about 17 m length of the building volume.

It's a pity, that's exactly how I want it with 70 .

But why can't it become like this here? We don't know the neighboring buildings or a development plan. Well - the OP thinks he doesn't like flat roofs...

Unfortunately, main terraces are not allowed to be built into the boundary construction.
