Is a satellite system still necessary in new buildings, or is IPTV sufficient?

some people have already shared their prices for the installation of a SAT system here. I would like to revisit the topic. The general contractor electrician sent me an offer in advance for a Wisi system for 6 participants with a multiswitch and surge protection for a total of €880 gross. I find that a bit steep. TV sockets with the SAT wiring are included. Now I looked into it, for a decent dish + LNB in a weatherproof housing, it's less than €200. 4 participants are more than enough, so no multiswitch is needed. It's not much more than installing those two things, right? At most mounting the dish on a bracket on the facade, that's my current thought, or, if technically possible, the bracket on the side of the roof box and also running the cables into the house through the roof box. Maybe someone here has their dish on the roof box or has some thoughts on this?

Unfortunately, I cannot say anything about the technical questions.
We paid €866 gross last year for the same service (bowl with 6 connections).

I consider 4 connections to be very tight; in the living room, you should have at least two connections + one connection each in the children's rooms and possibly the bedroom / office / guest room.
You don't really get far with 4 connections.

What do you need two ports on a device for? Or do you mean because of the option to switch?
