Neither. Sitting about 4 meters away and I would never pay for the content from RTL and the like. That's why SD is more than sufficient.

Yes, if you are sitting on the couch at the next but one neighbor and trying to see your TV through three window fronts.

I wouldn’t pay for the content of RTL either, but the basic statement that SD and HD make no difference is unfortunately not true, unfortunately not at all.

Why do so many decide against it? Especially in new buildings, a satellite system costs hardly anything and provides "free" TV.
