Hello ypg
the thread is already so long, in my opinion it can wander even further.
I want and have neighbors. A whole village full. We have 42 houses and one and a half streets (I built the half). My neighbors (except for one) are lovable people. With whom you can spontaneously have a beer while doing garden work. Or chat at the village festivals. And drink a few more beers. The one neighbor, I call the group "my Flodders," has been quiet for a year now. Driver's license gone (drunkenness [once he almost ran into me with nearly 2 ‰], frequent driving with unregistered vehicles, driving without a license, fraud, etc. petty criminal basically. Got 16 months on probation. Didn't care. Then he skipped on the bailiff. 3 days of coercive custody. Now he is well-behaved. I learned about the scams through creditors who occasionally knock on my door asking about him.
Otherwise great neighbors. Also with children. I contribute financially to the children's parties, St. Martin's Day and whatever else.
My property (1,000m²) faces south. Behind that comes the 6,000m² garden land. "My" street is a farm road, which I paved, that leads there. And I am worried that a clever investor will buy the land, use his connections and build several multi-family houses on it. And behind that comes a creek.
That’s why, to protect my view, I want to buy the garden land.
Steven
Maybe do that early. Who owns it? Not that the municipality exercises its right of first refusal.
