Duplex - Trouble with the Neighbor

You don’t have children, do you? I’m just curious right now. Our neighbor back then had 2 dogs, they never bothered us, their dogs were very pleasant and children can be as well, so why on earth should someone sell their house "directly" because of that?! So as a child I would find it very sad if neighbors sold their houses because of me, if I live in the center, as an owner I must expect that families can move in next door, otherwise move to the forest, where you mostly have your "peace".

Noise-sensitive people should not be accused of hating people when they change their environment because it is too loud for them.

Don't you want to understand? Again, who says that children make the environment noisier?! In my childhood, I can't remember a single time neighbors complained about my alleged noise level.

You know what's funny?! People who talk like that usually don't have children, it always stands out.

And again, if families ignore everything, I can perfectly understand neighbors if they move away!!!!!!

Inconsiderate towards whom? What kind of chance?! The families don’t care at all whether some neighbor sells the house! If anything, a family with kids will move in – the children can surely do more with that than with a retired couple.

Besides, many people would be happy about selling retirees – more houses on the market for families.

Unfortunately not – at least not socially. In that regard, we are unfortunately a developing country. I always enjoy being with my kids, especially in southern countries abroad (also gladly Latin America or Africa). THERE, children are the most normal thing in the world and a normal part of everyday life.

Here in Germany, you are often the annoyed one with kids – with my (well-behaved) three kids, you are often given strange looks (specialty store, restaurant, hotel, etc.). Terrible!

Right. From two kids on, you are already considered antisocial and lazy. Because you only want to milk child benefits and tax advantages, and one parent wants to stay home lazy. And then the noise!! Just yesterday we were scolded because of noise. It was the weekend; couldn’t we be quieter? No, we can’t!! Kids are not worn out, Corona and all! They should complain to Merkel! Usually, we would also be at the zoo, water park, etc. But none of that is possible at the moment.
