But there is already a false assumption in that. Children MUST be able to be somewhere WITHOUT being the center of attention. You can celebrate weddings WITH children, WITHOUT a children’s program, without the constant entertaining input, without it being centrally about the children. If that is not possible, an obvious cultural skill has been lost. If children romp around exactly during the time of the wedding dance or a parent with a screaming child does not leave the ceremony, the problem lies somewhere else than with the hosts... and anyone who has had to experience that might perhaps think about the modalities of their own future celebration.Children are welcome to be the center of attention for the remaining 364 days.
