Hopefully very soon.
Currently, we are waiting for the heating engineer and the facade person. By the end of the year, all installations should be completed and the screed in place, and then, if everything goes smoothly, we can move in next March.

Until then, I will continue to deal with lighting planning and tile areas.

Time for an update:

We are almost finished; the work is expected to be completed by early April. The final moving day will probably be 01.05., and the kitchen will arrive on 06.05. We are still worried about the electricity connection, as unfortunately the utility company is not quite getting moving yet. But we remain optimistic that this will also work out by 01.05.

I have to say, almost everything has gone smoothly. What was a bit annoying and sometimes exhausting were very spontaneous tradesmen who called us in the morning and asked us to be at the construction site the same day. With a six-month-old baby, this is not always so easy to manage, but we always somehow managed. The communication with our construction manager was great, and we still feel very well cared for. What pleased me especially: I was a bit dissatisfied with the selection of the staircase because the consultant unfortunately gave us completely different numbers (regarding the surcharge) than those stated later in the offer. I actually preferred a saddle staircase rather than a carved one, but since the numbers did not match at all, I had to reluctantly take the carved one and was really disappointed. In any case, I expressed my frustration to the construction company, and now we are getting the saddle staircase after all—without an extra charge. That is simply great and gives you a good feeling. We also had an intermediate wall in the bathroom, which looked different on the plan than it did later in the shell construction. It was adjusted completely uncomplicated and without any discussions or even an invoice.

As soon as we are a bit further inside, I will take new photos. Currently, you only see drywall partitions and plastering tilers.
