Of course, there has to be trouble with our rental apartment towards the end. We gave notice in due time for 31.05. and want, if possible, to go on vacation from 23.05. Now our landlord says he wants/can only inspect the apartment as early as 26.05., without referring to anything. There is also nothing about this in the rental agreement. Has anyone ever heard (or read) something like this? It’s driving me crazy right now.

But on what basis? I can somehow understand that the new tenants are not allowed to move in earlier, but why are we not allowed to return the apartment earlier?

Maybe he is on vacation until the 26th?
