Well, §34 doesn't say much in itself. We don't know what's written there. 2 full floors + a gable roof with a proper pitch would be cool.

I seem to remember that in the series "Traumhäuser" by BR there was also a house on a very narrow plot - just take a look in the media library. They solved it really cleverly!

But then it’s no longer a prefabricated house.

What I don’t quite understand yet is why a prefabricated house is so favored. It’s not necessarily faster than a local provider and in our case, the costs were only significantly lower with a prefabricated house if you took exactly the standard houses that the respective providers had in their program. Of course, many providers also plan individually, but then there is no cost saving anymore. And given the requirements of the plot, I would personally always prefer an individual, clever plan.
But that’s just my opinion.

I still think visits to model parks are good, you get a feeling for the rooms and can pick up ideas well.

The surrounding ones have either 2 or 2.5 full floors.

Yes, the duplex would really have been the optimal solution. But the neighbor cannot be persuaded. I understand that too; he still doesn't know at all whether the plot will be sold after all, and so on.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at it this afternoon! An individual design and a prefabricated house don’t necessarily exclude each other. Gussek Haus, baufritz, Kampa... They all plan individually. I understand that this is not cheaper. But: Since we are not under time pressure, we will also inquire whether there are architects or general contractors in the area that you can visit without obligation. A prefabricated house would not be favored by us because of the lower costs. But that has now been discussed enough.
