Today I also wouldn’t buy anything on credit anymore, except for property, unless it’s absolutely unavoidable. (An old car with total loss was a good example. Three days before the wedding in May, I had an accident that caused damage of almost 3,000 euros to our car, which had a market value of about 400. Fortunately, it was only sheet metal and cosmetic damage so a new one wasn’t necessary.) But what use is insight now when I messed up 17 years ago already.
I just often think to myself, if only you hadn’t been so lazy and had participated more in school. You’ll do it differently with your children, those kinds of wisdoms that, at least for me, my parents already preached when I was 13-14.
I don’t understand why you started the original post.
Probably so you feel better. We won’t be able to change anything about your personal situation, only you can.
However, I don’t see that the will is there. Without it, there will never be property for you in your life. Sorry, I stand by that.
Not everyone becomes a property owner in Germany.
