@aero

You can do as you please. It doesn't bother me, not even morally.

The problems of such a lifestyle are potential, not acute. They can remain potentially forever.

You accuse me of arrogance, I accuse you. Maybe we should start from scratch.

That attempting to imitate something that works successfully for you millions of times fails has to be kept in mind before swinging the club.

My approach is generalizable, yours is not. THAT is the essential difference.

I would never challenge your decision. Your presenting it as preferable, however, anytime.

Oh God. Is this an application for the biggest hubris prize in the forum? I want to vomit.

No one claims that you will be struck by lightning when using a consumer loan.
The danger, however, is losing control and overextending yourself.
The desire for the new [Glotze] is satisfied immediately, and you will only earn it over the next 3 years. Some people quickly need the next reward, and just like that, the next 50€ per month are gone, and so on and so forth.
If we were talking about [Cannabis] and not about 0% financing, the term gateway drug would come into play. Not everyone can handle it responsibly.

Strange that in this forum dealing with money is considered the only acceptable value

Everyone has their reasons. I had the bad luck—or perhaps, in the long run, the good fortune—to be shown by life what it is actually for.
I wouldn't wish anyone to have to experience that, but I am grateful to the dear God that I was able to find my own priorities in life very early on. And not only at the moment when I am an old man sitting in his armchair thinking about what I should have done differently in life.

But everyone can think about that as they please, like a roofer.

Firstly, I did not write that. Secondly, dealing with anything in itself is not yet a value.
