Yep, you can simply wipe the grease out of the compartment like that. After cooking thoroughly 3 times, it then takes only 10 seconds. Due to the type of intake, a volume that is actually quite weak on paper is more than enough to suction everything away from the stove. Also, the activated carbon filter with 2kg filters out a lot – and only needs to be replaced every blue moon. Additionally, for example, with the ceiling hoods, there is ventilation of the glass panel from below. With hoods from BSH etc., the glass panel initially fogs up from the front and as cooking continues, the condensation actually drips from the hood onto the stove. Besides that, they are relatively quiet thanks to the installed motors. The price/performance ratio is not optimal, I have to admit that. But since I have been able to use Berbel, Bosch, and Novy in recent years, I can say that there is a clear quality difference between Berbel/Novy and Bosch.

Go to another forum. First calmly plan your kitchen. Go to the store. ALL hoods work!!! Some better, some worse. Some with more finesse, some with less finesse. And always keep the budget in mind.

Berbel and Novy are linked elsewhere already ;) ... I have also experienced the dripping of a slanted hood (Siemens). Generally, I am not really a fan of slanted hoods.

Since it is a wall row with a cooktop, there are also nice solutions with ceiling extractor hoods integrated into cabinets. There is also something on this elsewhere, Google search with "Decken-Dunstabzugshauben - Album" .. that leads you to an album of corresponding extractor hood solutions.

We have planned the kitchen, now only the hood is the last point. Tomorrow we will go to the last consultation before we have to sign for the kitchen because of [black friday].
