Regarding the hinges from Blum: Blum has different quality levels and Blum has Ikea. Especially for IKEA, another series was developed at the lower end of the quality scale, which only IKEA gets. Cheaper and basically the lowest quality level. Not comparable to any real kitchen, but it works. It’s not total rubbish.

Wow, that is really wrong. These cheapest foil fronts are only practical because you can buy replacements later on. The drawers are NOT comparable to Nobilia either.

Maybe you should read again. I did say that Ikea has various quality levels for the fronts, and a price range with a 900% difference. I wouldn’t buy the foil fronts either.

I clearly remember how the Nobilia salesman in the furniture store stood INSIDE a drawer to demonstrate the "quality". After that, the drawer wouldn’t close anymore... Very funny. Ikea has two qualities for the drawers. I think the better ones are quite good, but I wouldn’t climb inside either.

In the end, Ikea’s hinges are just a normal trade type from Blum. I can gladly look up the type for you. But I assume you’re not really interested, as you prefer to stick to your half-knowledge and simple truths, as has been shown in some discussions before.

Just asked again: The hinges in the IKEA kitchens are of the type "Blum Clip Top".

The better IKEA hinges are an in-house development by Blum below the regular portfolio.

The cheapest Blum hinges go to impuls, pino, wellmann or burger. One level below is IKEA.

Nobilia is true mid-range. It also has, for example, genuine solutions for handleless and no IKEA finger traps. Decent locking options, etc...

No, of course not. IKEA hinges are only available at IKEA and are not comparable to the regular product range from Blum, which is intended for kitchen manufacturers from impuls, pino, etc. upwards.
