I live and farm in the countryside including agriculture with fields, forests, and meadows. The noise from the petrol lawnmower doesn't bother anyone there.

just a quick feedback. The appointment was good. I got a lot of information and it was somehow fun. Even if you can't really compete with the woman

The devices will probably come completely from Bosch. The ones we looked at were good. Although in the end they are all slightly worse than the ones I had chosen for us (energy efficient), but that will be "saved" in the price and is not worthwhile.

On Saturday there was only the first appointment. 1-2 more appointments will follow for the planning until the kitchen fits 100%. But as it looks, it will be a häcker systemat kitchen, even though it is somewhat more expensive compared to other kitchens.

You Alex, our al-Ko was bought for around 350,- in 2010. I thought, well, as long as it lasts, it lasts. Unfortunately, it was the only pure mulching mower they had at the country store. Now the thing has lasted until 2017 already, and we had about 1000 sqm to mow at our last apartment, it handled that. With a bit of care, ARAL Super, clean carburetor and fresh oil every year, even the simple Briggs and Stratton endures quite a lot. Now such a cordless device from Makita would be enough for me – but as long as the other one runs, it runs. I can also understand your statement about handleless. Why no handles? Why always grope at the fronts with fingers? Where is the ergonomic advantage? My wife would never want to buy something like that. Karsten

Screw energy efficiency. It will definitely be faked just like diesel emissions values. The devices have to last. A mechanic plus spare parts is many times more expensive than a little more electricity or water. And Bosch lasts. Karsten

Well. I know how you get to 18k. For us, the "wood" at the IKEA checkout cost nearly 10k, the lion's share comes from the fronts and the countertop. We spent 8k on appliances and the sink, and I assembled it myself.

Handleless would not be a concept for me either, initially. I have concerns about dirt sensitivity. And if dirty, proper handles are easier to clean, that's my feeling. For me, it can often get quite greasy and bloody, with the meat grinder and so on.

we have properly large handles and also a reasonable mixed water lever on the faucet so that you can operate the thing with your elbow when your hands are full of dough, breadcrumbs, or whatever, when you work you need something to grab onto....with our induction hob I will never get used to just having to "touch" it....I always try to press a hole into the ceramic hob
