What else is there in the outbuilding?

That is probably a military restricted area, at least top secret. In this thread, it is practically a black box that resists considerations of viewing both buildings as a system. Presumably, the OP's tomcat is named Schrödinger.

.. so in effect you don’t have more space than in a 95 m2 apartment, only the kitchen is just bigger. And there’s no basement for all sorts of stuff either!

Currently we live in a 90m² apartment. You also have the hallways here. The utility room is added, but in the end, the washing machine and dryer are also there. Currently, the dryer is in my office. My office is in the outbuilding with 80m², where a small living unit including storage possibilities is being created. There will also be another shower here, which makes it easier to forgo it in the bungalow. There is more than enough storage space in the attic. Otherwise, all the cabinets are laid out in the floor plan as we currently use them.

Current changes:
- Guest WC
- Child’s room widened by 10-15 cm (area of living room and utility room)

Further planning needed:
- Main bathroom
- Kitchen layout
- Windows in general (size + position)

Hi, do you want to jump over the toilet bowl to get to the guest WC?

Hallway is much too narrow, no possibility to store clothes adequately in the bedroom, guest WC not accessible, children's room with 12m2 borderline small and narrow, no pantry and small kitchen, dining room very cramped with living room.

There is really a lack in every corner and cranny.

There are really shortcomings everywhere.

And your advice would be? .. just add 30m² quickly?
