As a pure thought experiment, I have drawn 2 rooms with slanted entrance doors. Both stand almost at right angles to each other. Presumably, these would have to open into the room (so exactly the opposite of what is shown in the drawing), as otherwise it would become too tight. The background would simply be the adjustment of both rooms and the reduction of the walking area.
