You've got mail. Ask . She is the other user and is currently building with the company.

: That may be true, especially if you can freely design your house. With the kitchen, we found a compact compromise (my wife wanted a closed kitchen) that enables both ergonomic use and optimal workflows. See attachment 1

If, in the coming years, my wife still wants an open kitchen with an island, we will remove the wall to the living room.

: I have now taken over all existing furniture 1:1 and even allowed for some buffer in places. There probably won't be a fireplace, rather a wood stove. But where to place it.

I am also looking for experiences regarding the placement and size of the windows in the living room

If this option should really come into play in the future, discuss it during the planning phase and with the structural engineer.

Gracious goddess, this is getting worse and worse!

In the same post as an excerpt from the kitchen planning brochure, you post a kitchen floor plan where you constantly bump your hip blue on every path at the kitchen table corner. I find it very sympathetic that there is no TV. Instead, watching the Ergotrainer stuff is at least "something different" - but you can only look at those things, they are too narrow to use. The guests are apparently significantly wider than the residents of the house (?) - or, what I consider more likely, you simply don't care when even simple things like toilet symbols in the floor plan are useless as representations of the actual space requirements. Finer points like a bathroom without daylight on an exterior wall don't even get noticed. Walls are probably sometimes just there to talk to - our dog's look right now says: this would be pointless :-(

As I understand it, there are no load-bearing walls in the bungalow if the roof is a truss construction. I have noted it down anyway.

: very calm

The kitchen reference was intended for j.bautsch. My point was that I have a minimum dimension for the kitchen even without planning a kitchen beforehand. This is about fictional things. Whoever planned the kitchen before the floor plan may cast the first stone.

How wide are you that you bump into the edge of the kitchen? I see no obstruction. I wonder how we have so far moved into our kitchen unscathed...

The TV is of course mounted on the wall between both windows in the east. You are welcome to complain to Roomsketcher that judging the floor plans is not easy for you due to missing items in the 2D floor plan.

The cross trainers are inside because they currently also stand in our living room and I have drawn everything org[anized] faithfully to get a sense of the size. If you leave that out, there is only "beef" here in the forum.

I don't understand the rest of your comment, especially since the floor plan just posted already exists here in various versions, so why the outcry instead of meaningful support?
