I haven't been reading from the beginning and maybe the question has already been answered. Why are you making 2 dining areas? I don't see any added value.

That would be optimal. If that’s not possible: - only one dining area - do not separate the kitchen, that’s nonsense in this case - remove the bathtub, it’s not necessary - utility room must go, separate extension. Use the space for pantry and wardrobe The underlying problem of being too small remains to some extent.

I also wondered why the two dining areas are practically right next to each other? That's a waste of space. What I don't like is the passage behind the sofa. I imagine it would be uncomfortable when sitting on the sofa and everyone squeaks past who wants to go to the kitchen. The kitchen is also as far away from the house entrance as possible (keyword carrying groceries).

Very simply answered: - my wife wants a separate kitchen - for occasions\celebrations\game nights we use the bigger table

: the topic of access/passage has also been discussed dozens of times and there apparently is no perfect solution.

Either you are standing directly in the living room, need a bigger hallway, or have the living room as a thoroughfare

Here is an old draft with hallway next to the kitchen Post #25:

how is one supposed to technically imagine having the utility room outside? That is not practical.

And do you really think that a tub is too much in a 10m² room?

The question is how important the bathtub is to you, only you know that. Personally, I would prefer to install a nice large shower with comfort. The one drawn in does not look like that. Utility room already inside the house, but maybe as an extension and not centrally in the entrance area. That's what I meant.

Or just stop being so stubborn about excluding the outbuilding and instead include it in the overall project planning. You’re fixated on leaving the existing building untouched and placing a bungalow next to it with a fixed floor space budget. My counter-argument, a clever extension of the outbuilding combined into a whole with an annex – which could even be smaller than the bungalow so far discussed as a given module – would offer more living value, more individuality, and all that at lower costs, you persistently ignore or withhold from a thorough, objective review. You don’t want to be happy, you don’t want an optimal house. You have bet with yourself that the eighteenth variant would be the bullseye, and want to hear from us that we see it the same way. You’d rather ruin the value of your property by building one of your Roomsketcher studies on it than check the possibilities with an open mind and bring in professionals. Headstrong as the master of your own misfortune.
