A third mistake that should be avoided is being made by you here: namely the straight outer edges. On one hand, it is indeed good to save on decorative cores as frills. On the other hand, straight-running exterior walls in a dogmatic dosage are equally unfavorable and lead, just like with the "square as a principle," to forcing rooms individually into unfavorable width-depth ratios, just to obtain a "clear rectangle" in total. Try dimensioning all rooms "optimally" as a test, regardless of whether their outer walls then lie "in line."
There are certain specifications (location of the single-family house on the plot and price) that we are orienting ourselves to. Or am I seeing the additional costs too critically? Ultimately, the roof will probably be decisive for the surcharge.
We can probably agree well on the following floor plan.
Here it is initially only about the layout:
- Entrance\utility room\wet rooms face the access\house connection
- Kitchen closed but with a large access (sliding door or similar)
- Kitchen in the west, but with a view of the access path, light should be sufficient
- Optimal room sizes
- Hallway/foyer size optimized
- Living area allows many design possibilities
