Yes, you want to write "present" and the phone makes it "representative".... But that is just how it is, you wrote that yourself

The problem with you dear future builders is that you sit on the sofa in the living room of your apartments and wish for size and freedom within these four walls.
That in a house the rhythm usually dictates a somewhat different life is not on your radar: usually the garden and terrace have to be somehow maintained and cared for. You are outside more, much happens between sink and garage or also between stove and terrace. There is no balcony behind the terrace door. You often only sit on the sofa when it starts to get dark. Then you want to do so only briefly or later. But whatever... later it will still be said that I am patronizing with my suggestions or talking nonsense here.

My living room is 25 sqm and is a retreat... but we already had this topic

I don’t have the existing situation in mind right now – was there something in the other thread? If so, I must have missed it.

You rightly write that living spaces with 2-3 m to the neighboring wall are not nice. My idea was to move the house and terrace as far west as possible so that the drawn trees limit the terrace. According to your sketch, I estimate about 4 m are possible. Provide the terrace facing the entrance with a privacy screen so that the entire garden is private. Everyone just walks past private rooms as if nothing, or you use the balcony door as a substitute front door for 8 months of the year. For me, the front yard is a calling card; my terrace with a utility, play, and relaxation garden is my living room.

In the east, you then have about 7 m space to the neighbor. Then the east is also bright and can be nicely planted towards the neighbor. Maybe also plan a nice shady lounge chair or lounge area there.

Unfortunately, it simply does not fit with the existing buildings, which extend directly eastward with a boundary distance of 12m from the west. This naturally limits orientation and design.

Attached are the markings with neighboring properties. Only gardens border the property. The sketch is drawn again in the initial post.

Where do you park?
Existing building is office, right?
From where is the access provided?

It's all in the original post

Parking is outside the property (either on the neighboring property as it belongs to the family, on the driveway possibly carport construction, or on the public street)
Access via driveway (3.50m wide)

The wall on the east side of the old building is thinly outlined, as we have demolished the extension on the old building.
