20 pages of discussion in the end it will fail because of the budget.

Don’t be mad at me, with the money from 5 years ago I built my house but spent 6 months from morning till evening at the construction site. You say that friends/family help, don’t they have to work too or do they only build on weekends? Will the craftsmen wait for you to finish with EL to continue?
If you have already discarded the floor plan 10 times within 1 week, I don’t want to know how long it will take to decide on technology, equipment, tiles, or wall color.

And how... Double-stringer steel staircase over 3 floors with cost-conscious beech steps 6.5k€ As a flat-stringer steel staircase with the same configuration 12k€ Surcharge for A-grade oak steps with lamellas 2k All still without landing and without customizing. The prices mentioned are 1 year old.

When I read these surcharges, I am regularly glad that we liked and still like a (comparatively inexpensive) closed concrete podium staircase best.

Long, narrow semi-detached houses are the least comparable to floor plans with four window sides. The two-flight staircase as you planned is economical because the start and the end are close together. Where you planned the platform (which is practically a step), five winders fit in – so four more, or on each side the whole is then two treads shorter.

Maybe I missed it: What heating technology do you want to install? With the six to seven m² for the technical room, it could be a bit tight, depending on what else should go in there. Our architect says we need at least (!) 12 m². I quite like the currently favored floor plan – we wouldn't build it that way because we didn’t want exactly what you want (tube-like arrangement of kitchen, dining area, and living room, staircase in the living area), but since you have a different idea: I think it’s good. By the way, everyone who doesn’t want to build a palace here has the same discussion about storage space. For some, it’s simply impossible to understand that not everyone has the same expectations regarding that. Don’t worry about it.

Am I correct in understanding that not all windows are marked on the plans yet?
