I would actually be interested in the wall thicknesses. Well, do you now pull out the basics of spatial planning, light, winter sun and all that stuff again, or do you let the owl die stupidly in her cave? Considering the fact that one is so different and knows everything, I tend to the latter.

The OP isn't actually that different after all.

Oh....
I thought the same recently but forgot to write it down:
Many think they are so different, that their wishes cannot be understood by others. But it’s not rocket science at all, and most people here want openness and generosity, space, airiness and sunshine in the rooms.
Just the same with all that little stuff: “how often can you read, I’m different from others, I want to hoard, store, and fold laundry Marie Kondo style. As if “we” don’t do that?!
At least the new builders now, who deliberately build without a basement, know where the pinch points can be. And if I now use folding techniques for my laundry and regularly declutter, it’s only because there’s simply a lack of storage space. I would, for example, like to have one meter more closet space so I wouldn’t have to fold. It’s not like people enjoy folding or time runs differently.
Unfortunately, the utility room has to serve many purposes here. Already too much... but 8.5 sqm is different at Schnute than for most others here

That's the problem, she just doesn't know it.

Well, I'll say it briefly again and spare myself the long version: Light is the be-all and end-all in the house - especially in winter. The south side (including southeast and southwest) should be reserved for the living rooms, otherwise you will suffer from depression. Your house is mirrored on the ground floor.

Even if it misses the main topic, allow me—as a man—to ask: what is Badspray?? Is there a miracle product I don't know about? You spray it in the bathroom and everything is clean? So why am I always on all fours with vinegar cleaner, feeling my wife's controlling glances on my neck?

With us it is exactly the opposite. As soon as I dare not to use one of the approx. 15 "super-duper-special products" that my husband likes to use, I have to listen to a hours-long lecture about why nothing can work without this special product. He supposedly sees a difference, I do not.
