Thank you very much, and I think so too. There are always small things. We deliberately designed the major aspects or the basic layout that way. We have friends with a similar staircase from the living/dining area and always find it great when we visit them; that ultimately inspired us as well. So it's very unlikely that we will want to remodel it later ;).

Exactly! I also hope that I can walk barefoot a lot on the wooden floor in the house ;).

I am not allowed to link the construction blog, even though there is absolutely nothing commercial behind it, it's just a purely private blog. Anyone interested will also find it on Google under the keywords construction blog Berlin Suburbia.

I googled the blog, very interesting. I only learned through you that a clinker facade is so much more expensive. o.O Here in the North, "that's how it's done," the house we took from the general contractor already had the clinker included in the price. I never asked myself whether it would be cheaper without it. I'm not sad about it now either, I love the clinker, but do I want to know what the house with plaster would have cost me? Probably not. ^^

oh thanks :). But the thing with the clinker is not quite that simple. You will probably have a proper clinker facade, i.e. brick walls, insulation layer, clinker. The brick walls can then be significantly thinner since they don't have to provide the full insulation performance. This construction will also be more expensive than plastered, but I don't know by how much. On the blog, I specifically compared slips with plaster on our wall. Because of the 2 full floors, we also have a lot of facade area! We get the plasterer very cheaply since he is an acquaintance of my father-in-law ;). Buying and gluing slips is already material- and time-intensive, but I find clinker/slip facades really really beautiful. And they are also more durable! So everything done right ;).
