But 1m behind the sofa is almost the dining table already? Don’t get me wrong, but you’re planning almost to the centimeter, so: where are they planned?

The people who casually give their tips and assessments here also do so in many other threads for many other builders. When more than a dozen builders each ask for tips solely regarding the floor plan in their own respective threads at the same time, plus several more in other subtopics, it is difficult to keep track of what one of 50 questioners might have explained additionally a few days ago.

Therefore, it makes sense to be able to extract all relevant information from the current drawings if possible.

Metaphorically speaking, however, it could be that you have really bad bow legs and a dress would be a total mistake for you. Since you don't recognize this, but only some others do, these people will try to make you like pants before you embarrass yourself in public wearing a dress. That some users don't see your bow legs, even sugarcoat them because they themselves like dresses but only want to sell you their taste (dress is great) without addressing your ugly legs, can also be the case.
Hardly anyone said that. It was just pointed out many times that family, soundbox and an open floor plan do not get along.
Where exactly? There isn’t even a wall there. As far as I know, those things are placed at seating height.

Weren’t you supposed to be out long ago, ? This argument completely contradicts my life philosophy; mature adults should be allowed to decide such things themselves, whether it’s about dresses or houses, and what society thinks about it—honestly, who cares. Overweight people may wear bikinis, people with knock knees may wear dresses, basically everyone should be able to build a house however they like. I pretty much don’t give a damn about universal beauty ideals, but maybe you only learn that in colorful, diverse big cities like Berlin, Hamburg, etc. So for me the comparison is hugely flawed or rather your continuation just shows me that we have very different views on life. I would simply NEVER EVER EVER come up with the idea of imposing my opinion on you or anyone else if you or they want something completely different.

And I don’t know if you browse architecture magazines often, but modern single-family homes by architects are actually quite often designed like that. So my wish isn’t really that different or unusual after all.

Interesting: I also have a Teufel system (a bit older; Theater 80). But I’m also currently planning the positioning of the rear speakers. Instead of 1 m _behind_ the couch, you can place the speakers _above_ the seating position. So somewhat to the side at maybe 2.3 m height. The speaker is then rotated toward the listening position. When calibrating the sound system, the distances of the speakers are “equalized”… I will definitely provide empty conduits for the speakers. But I can understand that if you do it professionally, you want to make the setup without compromises.

I'm out of tips, yes. I understand [Mündigkeit] differently. For me, [Mündigkeit] also implies being willing to listen to something from experienced people. For example, that architecture magazines are very nice to look at, but don't necessarily represent real life.
