We also asked ourselves the question gas condensing boiler or heat pump (new single-family house, currently in shell construction phase)

The "additional cost" for an air-water heat pump from our general contractor is about 5000 euros (including small external foundation). For this, we do not need a chimney and also save the gas connection. That is almost a break-even game.

In a new building, the cost question does not really arise for me if you are planning with underfloor heating anyway. Those who are also planning a photovoltaic system then have no electricity costs for domestic hot water in the summer at least.

Not only in summer, not only domestic hot water :)

With 14.4 kWp east-west on the roof and 10 kW storage, we have the following grid consumption (KfW 40 new building) in percentage for 195 sqm:
Aug 22: 0.4%
Sep 22: 3.5%
Oct 22: 8%
Nov 22: 41%
Dec 22: 84%
Jan 22: 75%
Feb 22: 42%
Mar 22: 26%
Apr 22: 5%

Which brings us back to the topic some mentioned: "If everything works so well with heat pumps, why is it then mandated?! Hm? hm???" That's why. Exactly why. Heating an outdoor pool to 40° at -5° - Is he serious? We are really too well off. At least put double glazing around your fancy pool... Unbelievable.

Sometimes I have the feeling that two people are using one ACC. The amount of nonsense you write in between is really unbelievable.

A movable plexiglass winter garden from Vöroka is planned
"We're doing too well" is rather a debate about envy, otherwise we'd also have to denounce and ban SUVs, koi aquariums, and campers that guzzle 20 liters per 100km and get outraged about them.
I, on the other hand, say: to each little animal its pleasure. And I mean that seriously. Oh, and by the way, I also regularly blast down the highway at 260 km/h *duckandrun*

Hallelujah! Sure: Everyone should just bear the real costs for it. But it’s supposed to come anyway :)
