Then I'll just buy the heat pump in 2027... but not today, right in the middle of the most absurd price peak of all time?

Oh, and on the topic of "worth it". Calculate how much you save per year and then divide the 15,000 EUR by that. Something between 10-20 will come out, that's the number of years until you break even. From that point on, you start saving money. Until then, however, the heat pump is already worn out and you need a new one...

How does a device that costs 2k to 8k€ generate an alleged surcharge of 15k€?

You want to give lectures on economic viability here, based on the most absurd assumptions, but at the same time tear out a gas boiler after 3 years? Just do the math...

Price peak... what do you think will happen from 2027 onwards.

A €15,000 surcharge is nonsense.

Price parity with gas heating.

Production capacities are currently being built everywhere without end. Bosch has just started a new factory and is building another plant for €250 million, which will begin production in 2025. Viessmann is also investing like Bosch one billion euros by 2026 for a new production plant; the foundation stone for €250 million was already laid last year. Vaillant’s new plant in Slovakia (started production in May) can produce 300,000 heat pumps each year (Vaillant a total of 500,000 units). And these are only the large German manufacturers.

Further investments in heat pumps (development and production):
Stiebel Eltron: €700 million by 2027
Daikin: €840 million by 2025
Panasonic: €350 million by March 2025 (expansion of existing plants)
Nibe: construction of a new research center and factory
Mitsubishi: massive expansion of production, for example in Turkey to 300,000 air-water heat pumps p.a. (plus 1.1 million air-air heat pumps/air conditioners)

Besides, there are various less well-known (Asian) manufacturers who are also pushing into the market and have already formed partnerships with installers.

The market will actually be flooded with heat pumps of all kinds by 2027.
