Of course, this will happen gradually. But a ban from 1.1.2024 is a sledgehammer and not "gradual."

Strangely enough, this is not done for combustion engines either. Even the ideologists among the ideologists understand that you cannot allow only electric vehicles from 1.1.2024.

Although passenger cars have almost the same lifespan as modern heating systems. A combustion engine that rolls off the production line today will be driving around well into the 2040s.

But please, explain to me where you get your electricity for the heat pump on a cold winter night? From the photovoltaic system on the roof? Certainly not ;)

Oh;
Expert reports usually say what I want to hear. Because the biggest question is unfortunately ignored...
Who is supposed to pay for all this?
Very few have 100,000 EUR lying in the safe for an energy-efficient renovation.

And where does 1.1.2024 come from? Ms. Geywitz did say on Anne Will: The heat pump manufacturers demanded this because otherwise the market would be lost to the Asians. Producing too little while demand is high = high prices = high margins!

If you already put others down like this here, start with yourself. If you still haven't noticed anything about the so-called experts and reports since 2020, then there's just no helping you. You can gladly read up in Focus who makes the reports for Habeck and Co and fills their pockets. The money stays in the family. Just not yours.

Starting in 2027, the emissions trading system will also be introduced in the building sector. Then "the market" will determine how expensive CO2, for example on gas, will be. Forecasts range between 200-300€ per ton, depending on whom you believe. Today, the CO2 price is set at 30€ per ton.

There would have been time for gradual transitions if the last 10 years hadn’t been wasted. A ban on gas heating in new buildings (which is not even true to begin with, aside from that) is simply self-protection for those who still haven’t realized how expensive gas will soon be.

The notoriously fossil-friendly CDU wanted to take the step – by the way, based on the expertise within the ministry as well as reports, which are being so nastily smeared here – one year later (2025). That is obviously a huge difference. Probably really so, because the CDU would probably have just caved in here despite absolute necessity.

So what is this nonsense here? I get the impression that some want to justify their wrong decisions from the past and future. Even presenting themselves as the saviors of the power grids here, because they decided, based on their own lofty knowledge against the mainstream, in favor of a gas boiler for new buildings.

But you can see how the smear campaign by the respective parties and ultimately the lobby bears fruit when new buildings are willingly equipped with old technology. Even against better knowledge, "technologically mature, but I myself know better and save the power grid."

Completely bananas.

You can certainly do your heat pump, just let the others have their gas and answer the questions asked or just don’t ….
