Installation of a gas heating system in new construction 2023/2024

I have only been silently reading so far because I hoped to find something about gas heating and because, in such off-topic discussions, I miss the added value. The amount of nonsense and pseudoscience spread here tops some Facebook articles. I thought this was about construction topics?

I would be interested to know how old people are who write and judge like this. Just roughly. Mid-50s? Older? I am in my early 40s, my wife too. We have two children, one in elementary school, one starting school. So far, I have not seen any left-extremist school materials in B-W. And no thanks to ethnic upbringing if that's the dream. I prefer to see my children with an education that prepares them for the coming decades and not for a life in the 1970s. Or 1950s.

And yes, I find the concept of life-work balance very sensible because we both work, currently 100% and 80%, and reach our limits. I have the impression that only people who have no children or are in a single-earner marriage rail against life-work balance. And I am not talking about the financial side. A day has only 24 hours, and despite family support, we can't squeeze in everything that modern everyday life demands. My wife's employer now wants full presence in the office again; after all, why else was the building built :rolleyes: My employer only wants to allow HO one day a week. We practically long for the corona days back, and we will have to cut back on all volunteer work and sports because there is no other way. My wife will probably have to reduce her hours, and I can already hear the boss whining.

If this country runs itself down, then it is through the "we have never done it this way" and "where would we end up" mentality. Economically successful are not the countries that operate like in 1980.

I can only speak fully content-wise about my own subjects.

But that in politics, history, social studies, etc., writings are read through which the author conveys an attitude is completely normal. It MUST be that way. In school, there is the operator of "evaluating" or "taking a position": students are supposed to take a position on the attitudes of others and thereby develop their own attitude. Rejection is allowed just as much as approval or indifference. Requirement: One must be able to justify this.

But I find it normal and important that on the one hand, one compares speeches by Nazi figures and on the other hand engages with essays by, for example, Rosa Luxemburg. In German, one also reads fictional literature that reflects attitudes which are no longer held today. Among these are books considered world literature.

So, as long as you cannot tell me WHAT exactly should be done with which writing in an Abitur exam, everything sounds quite normal. Engaging with indoctrinating material is an educational goal – and rightly so.

As long as it is possible to critically engage with the analysis: all good. But that is precisely not yet clear. And as soon as it ends like that, it is no longer funny: Student parliament of FU Berlin: Those who do not use gender-neutral language are not allowed to apply for anything Analogously: those who criticize the essay are graded worse.

So do you now have the concrete example you claimed proves indoctrination in schools, or not?

Of course, critical engagement with content is the central aspect under which all kinds of ideological writings are read in schools.
