Yes, frequent water changes are indeed the best method against Legionella.
Why does this favor the efficiency of the heat pump? If I have a 260-liter tank warmed up, it stays warm longer than a 180-liter one because there is much more mass to maintain. And if I only use 160 liters from the 260 liters, the new 100 liters are easily warmed by the remaining 160 liters. The 180-liter tank is empty and I have to warm completely fresh/cold water from "0 to 100." Or am I forgetting something?
I am looking for a brine-water heat pump that can be controlled together with a controlled residential ventilation system. Because then the controlled residential ventilation system is also subsidized by BAFA. So far, in my research, only Alpha Innotec/Nibe has come up on the screen, which offers joint control of the heat pump + controlled residential ventilation (with enthalpy heat exchanger), so that the controlled residential ventilation and all accessories are also subsidized by BAFA. Are you aware of anything else?
(It has disadvantages too; if the heat pump control fails, I can no longer control the controlled residential ventilation either, but in my opinion the price advantage outweighs this.)
