OK. Understood. I more or less skipped this point because I didn’t turn all the valves fully open again, but only in the rooms that should have the highest target temperature (bathroom and living room). Of course, that left me with colder rooms.
I approached the optimal comfort temperature rather from below.

Hello everyone,

I would be interested to hear about your experiences regarding the cooling function with geothermal heat pumps.

Best regards

If you don't have pipes in the ceiling, you get cold feet.

We have passive cooling ourselves and I would always choose it again, it takes some of the heat outside in summer, .. of course not comparable to active air conditioning, but practically without running costs and quite climate-friendly

However, we have parquet floors almost everywhere, so you can still walk barefoot comfortably in summer despite the cooling.. on tiles it could get cold.

Good evening everyone,
I am new here and have only been a passive reader so far. We have slowly started with our construction project. For the heating, it should be a geothermal probe with a brine-water heat pump. Although I thought I had informed myself well and done the calculations, I am now quite uncertain about the costs: We are building in the deep south of Bavaria (Alpine foothills) - here the drilling costs are apparently significantly higher than in the north - what do you say about the following offer:

Offer:
Geothermal probe drilling by Baugrund-Süd: 15,000 euros
Heat pump including installation: 12,000 euros (with 4.8 kW)
Minus the subsidy of 4,500 euros = 22,500 euros

According to the offer, everything is really included here.
I think the costs for the heat pump including installation are okay, but the probe seems quite expensive to me. How do you assess it? Is that still within the usual range? Baugrund-Süd is probably more like the Mercedes among the probe drillers, right? We would probably drill between 100 and 110 meters. Thanks for your feedback in advance!
