I can also just throw something out (insurance / maintenance / declining performance, etc?). I mostly read about more like 3% if you buy a system at the moment, so I am curious about the details (here, 10 kWp for 12 including everything is also hard to get), so I am curious because I am considering whether to buy a solar system or make a large special repayment. Since there is no "compound interest effect" with solar, the estimate has to be more precise.

What more do you expect than that? If you want to plan a very specific system and it depends on an exact calculation, then you will probably have to calculate it yourself with your very individual parameters. I have roughly calculated it for myself using pvgis and have come to the conclusion: yes, it’s worth it! Whether in the end it comes out 100€ more or less, I don’t care at the moment. If it is different for you, then you will have to invest more time yourself. Or put the money in a savings account; there you know after 2 minutes of calculating what you earn each year. I don’t believe in such exact calculations anyway, because the result is never correct. Or do you already know the sunshine hours of the next 20 years? Or how many geese will s*** all over your panels?

Nothing. But I don’t like it when 10% are proclaimed in the forum, and when you recalculate it's only 5%. Nowadays that’s called Fake News. Experiences should be exchanged here in the forum, if you have any then gladly, e.g. the yields of the last years as well as costs and expected maintenance (e.g. inverter)/effort. Anyone can come up with fantasy numbers.

Nothing, unless you have a good recommendation for [Tagesgeld Konten] above 0.1%. But I don't like it when 10% is boasted about in the forum, and when you calculate it, it's only 5%. Nowadays, that's called fake news. Experiences should be exchanged here in the forum, if you have any then feel free, e.g. the returns of recent years as well as costs and expected maintenance (e.g. [Wechselrichter])/effort. Anyone can make up numbers.

I did not talk about photovoltaics alone but as part of a package with the Sole P. above all, the latter is unfortunately massive money burning. At the time I obtained several offers and did amortization calculations. It was never under 30 years.

You can do photovoltaics, the return is about 6-10% and relatively secure. An alternative would be a DAX investment, similar return with somewhat more risk.

As a rough comparison: my neighbor, with a slightly smaller house and an air-to-water heat pump, has heating costs about 600-800 euros higher per year compared to my ground source heat pump (values from the last 4 years). The drilling including pipes and everything cost about 12k and is usable for 50 years. So the complete package becomes more profitable in less than 20 years if the electricity price does not rise.
