Depending on which appliances they are, the price could be appropriate. However, in my opinion, it is also difficult to compare because there have been price increases recently for everything.

Important for further comparison is that exactly the same appliances are planned with the others as well.

But I have already shared my experience regarding this here before; it is very, very difficult to compare exactly because not every kitchen studio has contracts with every manufacturer and their appliance lines.

A very large chain of kitchen studios did have contracts with Siemens but couldn’t offer Studioline appliances, which the other had planned for me before. Another studio couldn’t offer a Quooker, etc., so it dragged on.

In the end, we signed with the one who advised us openly and, above all, transparently from the beginning and also gave us a picture of the kitchen so that we could look at it calmly. So the price of €21,000 for a white lacquer kitchen with Siemens appliances suited us ;)

It seems suspiciously cheap to me. Presumably, there are not many drawers but rather hinged doors or some unusably tall drawers planned. I paid about 5500 at Ikea for a total of 6.60m (5 tall cabinets, 2 base cabinets 80cm wide, 2 40cm wide and 2 60cm wide) and an unremarkable back side of the island with a hinged door, without appliances and assembly. But I really have an amazing 32 drawers in various heights (depending on the contents). I suspect that 32 drawers with a reputable manufacturer would already cost 15k. My kitchen would have cost about 22k at a mid-range kitchen manufacturer. Because of the drawers. And giving up drawers would have been very unfortunate in my opinion and I would not do it.

I have also thought about Ikea. Are you satisfied with the Ikea kitchen? Our kitchen based on Ikea cabinets with Ringhult fronts would be around 8 TEUR without appliances.

Yes, I would do it the same way again. My kitchen is only 2 years old now and I can’t really find much to complain about. I have the black Kungsbacka fronts. I don’t see what a branded manufacturer’s kitchen could do better if you stick a bit to the standard dimensions during planning. The nice thing about Ikea is that the cabinets themselves are so cheap that you are happy to tinker a bit to get a better fitting cabinet. I installed my dishwasher raised. Worked perfectly.

Show me your kitchen plan. I don’t have the whole thread in mind right now.

However, I have to say about Ikea that last year, after watching a report about Ikea’s business practices (on ZDF, I believe), I made a conscience donation to the local nature conservation. Ikea is an ugly company that neither pays taxes anywhere nor particularly cares about resources and the renewal of resources. They just know better how to hide it than other companies. If I recommend Ikea, I also recommend a donation to nature conservation or somewhere else. The Earth deserves that.

Nowadays, I would buy without appliances and get them myself. Otherwise, you'll have a kitchen waiting with appliances that take months to arrive. Check if you can get the desired appliances; if not, alternatives have to be found. For example, we wanted a Bosch induction cooktop with downdraft extractor. However, the delivery time is about 5 months+. That's why we went with an Elica Tesla Switch, which was delivered within a few days.
