Seriously?
Who pays your pension? The Pole or the German?

With us, there is still the baker with his old oven, but he is over 70 and has no successor, The rolls are a dream

sorry, I do not base community on nationalities. The probability that my pension is also paid by Poles has probably decreased in recent years, but the probability that it is paid by Germans has as well. And that has little to do with where I buy my kitchen. do you buy your clothes exclusively at Trigema?

I work professionally on business models with particularly high sales cost shares, and where there are good consulting services and individual tailoring of the products to me, I as a consumer am also happy to pay for the local distributors and salespeople. In cases like car dealerships, which assemble standard products with insane additional costs and sit in overpriced glass palaces, I deliberately choose cheaper sales channels. Why should I as a customer co-finance such exaggerated and inefficient waste of resources without much added value? That can gladly disappear.

I am basically with you on the idea of community, I also always struggle with things like national pride and anthems and blah – BUT:
In case of doubt, we also try to support local providers, even if that means paying more. And yes, depending on what it is, that then also applies to all of Germany.
Our standard of living largely depends on taxes from a functioning economy – starting small with property tax and ending big with sales tax. I claim that everyone who appreciates the standard of living (with all that entails) here should have an interest in maintaining the German economy.

"Local" means my place of residence to me at first. No craftsman or service provider for our house construction was more than 25 km away.

I think that's good.
