You are neither the ethics police nor do you tell me which examples I should use for comparisons!
You judge other people publicly and then I just write publicly how I feel about it. You apparently don’t like contradiction very much because you know how the world has to work:
Just accept it!
Yes indeed, I accept that you say it but not that it is so. Is it so hard to bear?
Of course, you can always learn something from everyone
What can I learn from someone who thinks uneconomically but still happily receives social benefits from the state?
So what now? Can you or can’t you?
because people are generous and seeing it as THE solution just doesn’t work
…no one saw it as THE solution and yet such people are allowed to exist. Whenever someone offers THE solution, I wake up anyway. You don’t have to give them anything personally, the state only gives them what they are entitled to. It also gives you that in your subsidies for the house. Just so you understand, I don’t per se approve of that and I have spent almost my entire professional life in problematic social circles to be able to view it somewhat differently. Our wealth, that is also yours and mine, largely results from or causes the poverty of other peoples, or can you name me some German natural resources from which our products are made? Our fancy espresso has a story just like cocoa does, and those are partly terrible stories. Whoever fundamentally does not want to see that rightly lives in a fenced settlement house. Nevertheless, one can occasionally think about it and examine oneself. I definitely don’t have THE solution but I always get annoyed at declining language, especially when it is already perceived as “normal” and the condescending effect is no longer noticed by oneself. Therefore, I even urge you to seriously criticize me if I ever write something like that which could hurt someone else.
You write here about “stranded” and “uneconomical people.” What can we learn from them?
I think quite a bit … from Gandhi to Jesus, Mozart, the former drummer of Carlos Santana, Pippi Longstocking, and countless others, all economically completely useless types… They did not invent the calculator or self-optimization, you’re right about that.
This was about the economy in Germany and awarding contracts to foreign companies
No, wrong, actually it’s about “excessive costs for the kitchen.” But if you take a clear position, it does not necessarily end where you would like it to. As you can read repeatedly, things can also be considered more broadly or narrowly or even seen completely differently. I leave you your opinion; I just find it arrogant with regard to the topics you yourself mentioned: Hartz IV, the Ritter family, garbage can scavengers, etc. To quote you again:
Just accept it!
By the way, I happened to watch the “Video of the Year 2019” yesterday, a conversation with David Precht, where this very consideration of people solely based on their economic value is discussed. In my opinion, this way of thinking is finally over… just like heating oil, natural gas, or diesel. It will be understood faster in these areas. So – now you can hit back again, but I stand by the fact that I do not view my own or other life predominantly from an economic perspective and I can bear that you see it differently.
