That speaks to the fact that even at the time of purchase, the purchase price does not reflect the value of the kitchen, but is significantly inflated.

Of course, you often have to search for a while and be patient, but we have special pieces of furniture, each in TOP condition, purchased second-hand, that we would never have bought new. I would exclusively search in the area of high-quality products/brands because the owners of these items usually took good care of them. Often something is sold for various private reasons. Transport/disassembly is no longer a problem nowadays, as there are plenty of options. Of course, you won’t get the exact required measurements in the kitchen area, but friends of ours have, for example, put together a really great modular kitchen this way. It is naturally a question of willingness and personal preference whether you like something like that. I, for example, like fewer things from flea markets or one of the mentioned second-hand stores here; that wouldn’t be my thing. But if you search nationwide in the area of the highest-quality products, you will eventually find something that is almost unused and available at an absolutely top price. For us, this has now become more of a hobby, but in this way, we have acquired what I consider to be a really noble furnishing, classic furniture pieces that can bring joy for a lifetime. Those who don’t like private contact for this can do so with seating furniture, for example, through a company like "Revive" from Cologne; it costs a bit more there but it’s a great company with great products.

But that's the case with almost everything. I think it's because used goods are generally much less popular than new ones. Try selling a pair of brand-name jeans that you bought for €100 in the store as like-new if they pinch somewhere. You can be glad if you get €10 for them.

You judge other people publicly and then I just write publicly how I feel about it. You apparently don’t like contradiction very much because you know how the world has to work: Yes indeed, I accept that you say it but not that it is so. Is it so hard to bear? So what now? Can you or can’t you? …no one saw it as THE solution and yet such people are allowed to exist. Whenever someone offers THE solution, I wake up anyway. You don’t have to give them anything personally, the state only gives them what they are entitled to. It also gives you that in your subsidies for the house. Just so you understand, I don’t per se approve of that and I have spent almost my entire professional life in problematic social circles to be able to view it somewhat differently. Our wealth, that is also yours and mine, largely results from or causes the poverty of other peoples, or can you name me some German natural resources from which our products are made? Our fancy espresso has a story just like cocoa does, and those are partly terrible stories. Whoever fundamentally does not want to see that rightly lives in a fenced settlement house. Nevertheless, one can occasionally think about it and examine oneself. I definitely don’t have THE solution but I always get annoyed at declining language, especially when it is already perceived as “normal” and the condescending effect is no longer noticed by oneself. Therefore, I even urge you to seriously criticize me if I ever write something like that which could hurt someone else. I think quite a bit … from Gandhi to Jesus, Mozart, the former drummer of Carlos Santana, Pippi Longstocking, and countless others, all economically completely useless types… They did not invent the calculator or self-optimization, you’re right about that. No, wrong, actually it’s about “excessive costs for the kitchen.” But if you take a clear position, it does not necessarily end where you would like it to. As you can read repeatedly, things can also be considered more broadly or narrowly or even seen completely differently. I leave you your opinion; I just find it arrogant with regard to the topics you yourself mentioned: Hartz IV, the Ritter family, garbage can scavengers, etc. To quote you again: By the way, I happened to watch the “Video of the Year 2019” yesterday, a conversation with David Precht, where this very consideration of people solely based on their economic value is discussed. In my opinion, this way of thinking is finally over… just like heating oil, natural gas, or diesel. It will be understood faster in these areas. So – now you can hit back again, but I stand by the fact that I do not view my own or other life predominantly from an economic perspective and I can bear that you see it differently.

Saving the world briefly between kitchen assembly; there has to be time for that. We are on page --24-- and not even in a forum about kitchens. Most of it was already said from page 5 onwards.
