IKEA kitchen quality and experiences?

We have had an Ikea kitchen for 13 years and assembled it ourselves at the time. We are satisfied with the kitchen. However, for the planned single-family house, we decided against Ikea because, due to the model change, it is not possible to install a partially integrated dishwasher from Siemens. Although there are some conversion instructions for this on the internet, they have not fully convinced us.

Nobody really claims that IKEA kitchens are complete rubbish. These kitchens also feature a granite countertop. The only thing that seems to convince buyers is that the prices are transparent. However, as already mentioned, you cannot want custom sizes, and as has already stated, not all modification instructions, which are then necessary and do cost money, are convincing.

Buy an XXL model (87cm high) from Bosch, Siemens, or Neff with a vario hinge. Nothing else necessary. Then you can simply attach an 80cm panel. It will then be fully integrated.

But especially with a new build, I don’t need custom sizes.
I already had the plan with me during the workshop discussion.

We are buying the IKEA kitchen for these reasons:
1. transparent prices
2. cheapest offer with the desired features
3. 25 years warranty
4. uncomplicated system, readily available. (20 min. drive to the nearest IKEA, most parts available for immediate pickup.)
5. 1 year return policy. If a cabinet/interior turns out to be impractical -> return/exchange.

No question, if that is okay with you, then so be it.
