Where is it produced? In the end, what counts is whether I get good value for my money. And our Ikea kitchen Metod, 2017 for 4800,- including assembly and delivery, is still absolutely fine today. All the drawers run like on day one. The doors still look like day one. The LED lighting like day one. Induction hob, oven, dishwasher, extractor fan without defects. Microwave and refrigerator also fine. So the conclusion is, good goods, good price. Also in Lübeck at least a great planning department, friendly, competent, short delivery times and in my opinion good design. Why should I spend over 10,000, please? Does the food taste better then?

I think anyone who doesn't have big demands and no individual special wishes can be satisfied at Ikea as well. But I think investing 2-3% of the house project in the kitchen is okay.

We bought locally and went to Häcker. We planned the kitchen ourselves online and then went to 2 dealers in the area. U with 1 tall cabinet, raised sink, steam oven above, oven raised with microwave above. Cooktop 75 (the next one will be a 90). 4 not quite so deep wall cabinets. Normal stainless steel sink. Cabinets in extra height. Stayed just under four figures without appliances, those were all extra.

When I read this about being happy at Ikea, I always wonder if anyone has seen a Metod kitchen in real life recently.

Before buying a kitchen for 10,000 euros at any discounter, I'd rather go to Ikea. There is a guarantee for the fronts, you can reorder as much as you want, and you can buy the appliances online or the Ikea appliances are just rebranded original Bosch, etc.

And as long as you are in the shell construction phase, you can move in the 60cm grid, although it feels like everyone has an open kitchen.
