A bar will be added at the entrance. Appliances: - Induction cooktop including ventilation - Dishwasher - Oven - Side by side refrigerator will be bought separately.

To the left of the window come two tall cabinets. Otherwise, high cabinets on the right side.

At least 30-40% of the kitchen price goes to the distribution channels. Huge showrooms, "non-binding free" planning, and advertising simply have to be factored in. Those who do not want this can plan themselves or find a suitable inexpensive distribution channel; this can save a lot without many compromises in quality. And a classic is to procure and install electrical appliances yourself; this allowed us to buy basically mid-range appliances without major financial damage.

Well, "always along the wall" causes the cook/kitchen helper to work with their back to the room. There is then a lot of space in the middle. If the bar is added, you will really enclose yourselves. Although the kitchen is large enough and that wouldn’t be so bad. But with 2 or more people, one person blocks the cabinets with their body. You have space for a built-in dishwasher installed at a higher level. I would definitely plan for that.

Consider whether you prefer to work facing the room or facing the window/wall. From that, the appropriate kitchen layout will result.

Downdraft? Premium prices are always charged for that, you automatically end up in the higher price category

well, it is indeed always somewhat more expensive than separate devices. Ikea offers an induction cooktop with extractor for 1600 euros, AEG as well. Bosch has one for 2000 (I thought, but I'm not sure). There is also a price category below "Bora extra expensive". Recently, there have been many developments in cooktops with integrated extractor.
