We got our kitchen from a small family business in the district. The kitchen 5m + large kitchen island is from the manufacturer Liva and definitely not bad ([Blumauszüge], 27 drawers many of them extra deep, [Downair] etc) including appliances for 18k

As it looks, quite a lot of cabinets are already planned. Integrated extractor fan is certainly not exactly cheap. But unfortunately, with your information, one still can't do much. There are different manufacturers, various price ranges for the fronts, drawers or shelves, lighting, end panels... So many factors that influence the price.

Side note: The comparison does not work like that ...Audi is a good deal more upscale than Mercedes (and priced the same)

Yeah, so I was shocked back then too... but by now the differences are a bit clearer to me... my dad has the attitude: replace the kitchen every 10 years, then he doesn't want to see it anymore... he paid 10k and got the appliances online / installed them himself... but you can somehow see that it’s cheaper... especially on the adhesive strips....

Ours was 22k, also all just plastic to put it in your words.... but we have an island, he doesn’t, the island is nano-coated, the sink is huge and made of ceramic, he has a normal Blanco... then we don’t have a single cabinet you have to crawl into from the back, everything is pull-outs.... the trash drawer opens automatically, the dishwasher is elevated etc etc.... especially drawers are mega expensive... that’s how you end up with the high prices....

Well, the price drivers have already been mentioned.

"Only" a cooktop with integrated extraction.... that is rather the upper class no matter who it comes from.
"Only" a granite countertop... again the same, of course there are more expensive materials than granite but that does have a strong impact on the final price.

And also "only" two cabinets on the left and only tall cabinets on the right... that doesn’t make the kitchen any cheaper either.

So I see the 15-20K as absolutely realistic for this setup. Which is not wrong if you expect quality.
