We have an open living/cooking area, and for a Nobilia with lacquer fronts, Bora Puxu, otherwise Bosch appliances and laminate countertop, we paid a good 19k. We also compared prices; other studios quoted the same. With Ikea, we wouldn’t have been really much cheaper if you had added assembly. But then you have cuts in quality and electrical appliances. The IKEA appliances didn’t impress me in the past. They worked fine, but the operation wasn’t all that great.

However, I am appalled by the quality of the laminate countertop. We have been living here for 2 weeks and discovered a 40cm long scratch on our kitchen island. No one knows how it got there. I previously had an Ikea kitchen with an IKEA countertop, and in 10 years I never got a scratch like that.

I always find it crazy what some people spend on their kitchen. Even if I had the money for such an expensive kitchen, I would never spend it on that. Eventually, you don't like something anymore and start to change or even replace ... boom ... a pile of money gone...

Here is a Burger U-shaped kitchen with a LeMans at the back left and the other row is in the utility room.

It cost pretty much exactly 5k plus 800€ for assembly, but without appliances. Bosch stove and Bosch dishwasher, 4-door side-by-side from Hisense as appliances.

And I find it very chic.....

Well, a kitchen from Poland doesn't have to be bad or worse. My daughter also had her quartz composite countertop from a Polish company, which is on a LEICHT kitchen. She ordered the handles from somewhere else as well.

The differences in kitchens are enormous; you just have to go to several studios/furniture stores with the same plan and clearly say what you want if you have dealt intensively with the topic. There are price drivers in a kitchen; there are kitchens with handleless profiles, which are more expensive than kitchens with handles and also have less storage space. There are melamine fronts, laminate fronts, lacquer or glass fronts, the list is long.

And as already mentioned, with lower carcass, higher carcass .....
