Just for your information. The Euro is currently at 1 Euro = 4.75 PLN. This is, except for the beginning of the war, the highest value in years...

You are right. That's why it is almost 40% savings (only considering the parts that I actually sourced in PL). I was just convinced last Friday for some reason that PLN was once at 7:1. I must be confusing it with RMB, which I occasionally deal with for work. So I was unjustly disappointed and held back in vain when buying groceries. Well, the next trip will surely come. I still need drawer sides and glass cabinet doors (they were not available).

Off-Topic I thought that "ogorki kiszone" were salted cucumbers (also called sour cucumbers in Germany, for whatever reason, because they are also in brine here). But now our little one says they are not salty at all but rather sour. I tried them and I think they are indeed salted cucumbers, just milder than, for example, Spreewald ones. Do you know if Polish salted cucumbers are generally less strong? Or is there a specific term for them? Or do you just have to buy them at the weekly market and not at Carrefour?

We were at the kitchen studio today to have a kitchen planned. It is about 7.5m kitchen + island and appliances (Siemens oven, induction, refrigerator, microwave, and extractor hood). Nobilia kitchen with lacquer surface. The tall cabinets are also ceiling-high. It was offered for about 17,000 EUR, which I find fair, but I can hardly assess it since we have not been anywhere else yet. Does the price seem reasonable to you, or should we still compare?

Best regards

That's exactly how we feel too. You still have the advantage because you have already experienced the kitchen and thus its quality. We are completely in the dark.

if you can't contribute anything, maybe just don't post anything. For me, it's about an assessment that is certainly possible based on the information provided.

.. your information is roughly like a VW car, red paint with 4 wheels, 2 doors, an exhaust and a steering wheel.

Material of the countertop?
Cabinet divisions (doors, drawers, etc.)?
Appliances .. for example, one could determine the average internet price as a reference value.

Basically, 17 thousand euros can fit though ;)
