Yes, I know that from my mother - however, she has a carousel like and it’s completely overcrowded (not decluttered). After 30 years, if you want, you can still find all sorts of things - slipped into the corner of the cabinet. I had such a carousel in the old kitchen. I could have fit the pots in a comparable pull-out cabinet, but stacked and the handles of the frying pans somehow squeezed, so I would have to move several pots noisily to get to the bottom one.

Now it looks like this:

I have to admit that although the bottom of the pull-outs has little surface area, the handles can stick out beyond the storage area here and there. And I wouldn’t have that in a pull-out. As mentioned above: all mixed up.

Otherwise, I would be interested in seeing your pot pull-outs from inside - would you like to post them???

Me again. It is true that mathematically more storage space is generated by a dead corner (haven't recalculated it just now, but definitely understandable), nevertheless one should consider that a) the dead corner (also, just differently) is very expensive (approx. 0.4 square meter price of the house), b) this space is regained elsewhere, because c) the dead space present in a LeMans or carousel cabinet results IN drawer cabinets filled with pots from the curves of the pots (so lots of air in the drawers, therefore another cabinet is needed) At least that’s what I thought about 2.5 years ago when we worked on the kitchen

We also chose the blind corner after experience with a carousel. This allowed us to go up to 80 cm width for the adjacent drawers, resulting in a nice symmetry.

A large drawer houses all the pots except for the roaster and the pans. They share their place with bowls and such.

Our kitchen has become significantly smaller! I have rigorously decluttered. I neither need Tupperware in larger quantities nor duplicates in three to fourfold.

Our new kitchen is not yet fully utilized, except for the refrigerator.

We have taken the top large drawer under the cooktop for our pots. In it, except for two small pots and one medium one, there are two complete pot sets. The pans are in the lower drawer to the left of the cooktop. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be done any other way.

Good evening Yvonne,

Yes, I know that too and it is just annoying ... also the hassle with the handles, a carousel really doesn’t like that. And I was so proud.....

I like it; who needs so many pots and pans that they could cook for a small restaurant

What do you say after a few months of use? Satisfied? Next year there will be a new kitchen and then I don’t want to be annoyed again afterwards

Rhenish greetings

Oh, thank you very much, , is that an 80er now? Many pots fit in there.
Today, before cooking, I held my good favorite pan in my 60er, then 2-3 smaller pots would fit with it and nothing else. At the bottom then my pans stacked and a large pot, possibly a small saucepan... I would need another cabinet, but that wouldn't have space in my kitchen.
Maybe it's because of my pot sizes?
If I remember tomorrow, I will sort my pots in the appropriate cabinet and take photos.
