So it doesn’t look like the 80s, just keep this in mind: tiles only where absolutely necessary. A very simple rule. And for me, that means shower and toilet. In the master bathroom, I have above-counter sinks and not even tiles behind them, I thought that would be problematic, but it isn’t.

Well, in my opinion, the large tiles are also very tied to their time. It won't be long before they are (hopefully) out of fashion again.
So it doesn't matter whether you revive the 80s or the stylish 2015-25s.

I think your drawing is very successful! I believe that if everything turns out as you have drawn it, you are making a mistake with the 120 cm tiles. Somehow the picture tilts because there is always a narrow leftover somewhere. The bathroom isn’t that big anyway, the proportions are not right.

Let’s take the toilet and washbasin as an example: you usually take the middle for the joint and adjust. When everything is very complicated, you tile in combination.

I also think that floor tiles should rather be the larger format. That looks more grounded. In your case then the 30x60 cm tiles for the walls.

By the way: my puppy's name is Bolle ;)

I am excited that you are planning the installation together with the tiler. Here, people often complain afterwards when they don't like it. I would suggest the strip on the floor under the washbasin. Then you have a line along the glass partition.

Good morning,
lately and also in sample exhibitions I increasingly see bathrooms being tiled floor to ceiling again. I recently saw very beautiful bathrooms planned exactly in concrete look like here.
Walls floor to ceiling in concrete look (60x60), floors with wood plank look (120x30).

Due to the many reactions and varied tastes, I would like to show one last time a tile pattern of the bathroom here. Perhaps this pattern will inspire some new forum visitors with ideas for their own future bathroom. The shower is 10 cm longer and is not tiled up to the ceiling. This means the shower is now 150 x 120 cm, but the glass panel of the shower remains at 140 cm (I think this is probably not a big deal and not very noticeable). In addition, the window side and the opposite side are untiled, as well as the area next to the door in the corner. In the end, all wet areas are tiled, the rest is not. The bathroom will be tiled in about 1 to 2 weeks. As soon as it is finished, I will upload the real final result here again :)
