Just for your information: a bedroom can do very well with 12 sqm if a separate dressing room is built. :)
Quick reply from on the go :)

What is the space between the children's room and the bedroom? 3 meters wide and only windows facing south and east? What do you want to put there? I don't find the staircase solution very nice, it doesn't make the room downstairs cozy. If the stairs, for example, ran from east to west, the dining area could be placed centrally.

Thank you for your comments!
- I did not draw the doors, only the openings. That is sufficient for my initial planning. The openings are either 90 or 110 cm wide.
- Purpose of the void: The idea is to create a gallery and position the dining table so that it is open to above.
- The master bathroom is planned with 20m2 because a small sauna might be included.
- Living/dining area: I will now remove the 'TV wall' in front of the couch and plan without a separation between the living room and dining room. Perhaps the fireplace can then be used as a small room divider. We do not want those round freestanding fireplaces, but something larger. It is correct that the chimney routing needs to be considered; I am also thinking about this. Ideally, with this roof design, the fireplace should not be on an exterior wall.

: The space between the children's room facade (3m wide) is an airless space. You might be right about the staircase. The idea was to create a modern cantilevered staircase.

Maybe you could swap the kitchen and living room. Then you would have more space for the dining table, and the staircase could serve as a "room divider." What have you planned for the kitchen? Kitchen island, counter?

I don’t think the staircase solution itself is bad at all. I like it when you bring the groceries straight into the kitchen, so you don’t have to carry them very far. What could eventually become a problem, however, is the open dining area upstairs. That could eventually disturb the children when they’re sleeping or, conversely, disturb the parents when the children are listening to music. As nice as a gallery is, unfortunately, it also has some disadvantages. And one more thing: if possible, always plan doors with a distance of 65 cm from the wall. That way, no space for furniture is lost. Do the children’s rooms only get such a small window? That will be quite dark then.

Hello Manu!
We cannot swap the kitchen and living room because otherwise there would be an empty space above the kitchen.
In the kitchen, we want to integrate a corner bench for about 6 people. The idea is also to integrate a sliding door so that the kitchen can be closed off from the rest, keeping noise and smells where they belong. The dining table in the 'Esszimmer' would then only be used when there are more guests.
You don't have to go down the cantilevered stairs with the groceries at all. There is a staircase that leads directly from the garage to the basement.
The children's windows will be adjusted, thanks for the tip!
