Assuming the application for the [KfW 300] loan is approved. The amount of 170,000 euros is, as usual, not paid out all at once but, through a credit institution, in several installments corresponding to the construction progress. Then I send the invoices etc. to [KfW] as proof after completion of the construction phase for the achievement of the new construction phase for review. If [KfW] now finds that a certain insulation material or similar does not comply with any [KfW] requirements, will the disbursement then be stopped? Of course, I have contractually agreed with the general contractor on an [EH 40] house, but I first have to bear the consequences. Has anyone had experience with this?
Background:
I was at a large German semi-public bank last week to seek advice on [KfW 300]. The advisor described this scenario as a great risk for the utilization of [KfW 300].
Semi-off-topic: The advisor and his team (headquarters and capital city) have so far not accompanied any [KfW 300] financing. In 2023, no new construction financing in the single-family house sector was carried out with this actual market leader... indicative of our housing construction.
I look forward to your opinions/experiences?
Best regards
R.
