Parental allowance is only subject to the progression proviso of § 32b Income Tax Act, which means that you pay a higher tax rate on your taxable income than you actually would have to pay based on your taxable income alone. Here, the parental allowance is added to the taxable income and the resulting percentage is then applied to the taxable income.
