We are currently building a bungalow KfW Efficiency House 55 EE. In addition to the requirements to reduce transmission heat losses, we are using an air heat pump (Vaillant Arotherm Plus 35/6). You must first have your house planned before applying in the KfW customer portal, then the energy consultant does their calculations. Afterwards, you can submit your application in the customer portal with their "confirmation for the application (BZA)".

That's interesting! Our energy consultant claims that photovoltaic is mandatory. How can you heat with the Wolf (which is also planned for us) to 55% from renewable energies?
That's exactly the difference (which exists!) between KfW 55 and KfW 55ee.

To be honest: I was also surprised myself, had read about photovoltaics everywhere and therefore calculated for the loan with standard KfW 55 without RE, of course now a few extra euros, which you are happy to use for special repayment. Energy consulting is basically "included" with my builder (small town, energy consultant and builder work together) and accordingly I didn’t have to deal with it too much – which values do you need? I can gladly quote from the energy consultant’s document. Oh yes, maybe important to mention: I have "only" 125 sqm, so relatively "small" by today's standards.

I would be interested to know whether you fulfill one of the other above-mentioned requirements (solar, biomass, etc.) or how else you achieve ee to me with an air-water heat pump and ventilation (does that have anything to do with it at all?)

I also fulfill the EE with a pure air-water heat pump, see my screenshot

Nope, no solar, biomass, or similar, just air-to-water heat pump + controlled residential ventilation in the heat pump center from Wolf. Maybe your energy consultant is not that great?
