They simply increased the pots for 297/298 in April because it apparently went quite well... In the end, only a few hundred have taken advantage of the 300 so far – whether it will suddenly take off with 30k more funding volume, I don’t know. There’s probably still quite a bit of volume left.

For my part, I could well imagine that it might go fairly quickly. They already lowered the interest rates once...

Other conditions (interest rates) are also often changed in the background. With the new adjustments, they are simply allowing more potential applicants in; the assets behind it, which were already planned for this year, will then just be used up faster. Postponing that to next year, I don't know — that won't be good for the construction industry either.

Has anyone already read anything about whether the additional amount for children (currently €10,000) also increases accordingly?

Which period counts for the income to be assessed?

I would say it stays the same.

What is "known," but not yet certain, is the following:

According to information from the ARD-Hauptstadtstudio, it will be raised from €60,000 for a family of three to €90,000. The Ministry of Construction is also increasing the loan amount: the example family will receive a maximum of €170,000 from the KfW, €30,000 more than before. The effective annual interest rate is supposed to be 0.5 percent.

That means that as a family of five, I could access a credit line of up to €245,000 with the KFW40+ QNG funding. That would be quite nice, as it saves about €1,000 in interest per year (for the extra €30,000).

What would be helpful now is if they could tweak the real estate transfer tax at short notice (e.g. an exemption). One is still allowed to dream.

And still only funding programs if you already have at least one child in the household. Why are those forgotten who currently live in a small rented apartment, want to build their house first, and only then have children there? :(
