Survey Ikea furniture in the new house - cabinet furniture, upholstery, etc.

We have also acquired a lot of IKEA furniture, specifically for the new house; in the old house, we had absolutely nothing from IKEA. So far (for exactly 3 years) we are still very satisfied with the furniture and plan to equip more rooms.

We have:
- Utility room: Metod kitchen furniture Veddinge
- Guest WC: Lillangen tall cabinet + washbasin with base cabinet
- Bathroom: Godmorgon tall cabinet + washbasin with base cabinet; Besta
- Small bathroom: 2x Tutemo white/gray
- Hallway: Besta (as shoe cabinet); Tjusig

At some point we plan to:
- Office: Metod/Pax
- Small bathroom: Expansion with Metod + worktop

Conclusion:
We like the IKEA furniture, they are inexpensive, suit our taste, and are easy to assemble. I can only recommend them!

I would have liked the kitchen from IKEA as well, but we had to assemble so many other pieces of furniture that we lacked the time for a complete kitchen, and with IKEA’s assembly service, we would have been just as expensive as our Nolte kitchen from the furniture store.

Apparently IKEA is no longer perceived as a furniture store at all, but rather as a kind of pick-up warehouse - something between a hardware store, a sawmill, and a factory outlet.

Why? Every other furniture store also offers delivery + assembly, right? I have used Ikea's assembly service before and was very satisfied.

This did not refer to the assembly service but to the subtle wording "IKEA or furniture store".

We have Pax in the dressing room and in the hallway. It's great! I was already totally excited about the Pax in my mother's dressing room and I'm really happy to have it now too! In the utility room we have these wooden boxes on the wall. We had them in the kitchen in the rental apartment. In the "big" child's room the cabinets are Stuva and Trofast. But we liked the bed from Flexa better. The little one still has a Paidi baby room. Later on it will probably also be a mix of Flexa and Ikea.
